NAEYC Ideals that guide my professional growth
I-1.1 To be familiar with the knowledge base of early childhood care and education and to stay informed through continuing education and training.
I-2.2 To develop relationships of mutual trust and create partnerships with families we serve.
I-4.4 To work through education, research and advocacy to word an environmentally safe world in which all young children have access to high-quality early care and education programs.
As an educator, I believe that each child and their family should be treated with respect as one is building a relationship. This will reassure the families and the children that they are in a secure environment with individuals who are knowledgeable of young children and their stages of development. Thus providing a service that is rich in quality by educators who are dedicated to staying updated with new information through courses or training.
