This is a great story to read to children about diversity. The author found a fun and creative way to describe the difference in skin tones of people in the neighborhood. After reading this story to my class, I gave them a mirror and asked them to describe their skin tones. It was amazing to see the children connect with the many shades mentioned in the story.
Mama, Do You Love Me!In this story, the child asked his mother, to express how much they love them. The mother begins to describe various ways how much she loves her child. I enjoyed reading this story of a mother and child expressing their love for each other.
